Your data's safety matters to us!

We are fully compliant with GDPR

This means that you can be rest assured that your sensitive data and business information is in good hands. We use the most up to date technology in data encryption and cyber security to make sure that your data is inaccessible to anyone other than you and representatives of your choosing.

About our Security

Mapsimise uses Azure to host our platform and utilises Azures great security system. With a team involving microsoft certified technicians, we have intergrated Microsofts impressive cyber security systems with our very own.

Azure Security Center

Azure's security center is the bread and butter in Azure's security system, This is the base vault for all our security features and functions.

Azure Security Score

Azure's Security score allows us to monitor our security standards and make sure we are maintaining a score that is up to par. From here we have a series of actions we can take to make sure our security never slips below a premium position.

Azure Security Alert

Azure's security alert helps not only alert us of a potential data breach, but will also detail the exact position of that potential breach. We respond quickly and sufficiently to any alerts we recieve and have yet to have any issues as a result of actions taken.

Frequently asked questions

  • I don’t use one of the listed CRM solutions, how can I get my data into Mapsimise?

We offer a Mapsimise database with your subscription so that you can upload data to the service. We will be adding more systems and connectors as time goes by, but for now you can import data from a CSV file or using Microsoft Excel (XLSX). Do message us the system you are using, and we will let you know when either a live data connector or a synchronisation connector will be made available.

  • Where is my data held and is it secure?

Mapsimise is currently hosted on Microsoft Azure and we are testing other mainstream providers like Google and AWS (Amazon). We currently use two data centres, one in Europe based in Germany (Frankfurt) and the other in the US East Coast (Virginia). Data is backed up and we are committed to secure application access and to meeting the EU Data protection regulation (GDPR).

  • Do I need to pay for the maximum number of users under the paid subscription?

The simple answer is no. We operate a consumption-based model, so you only pay for what you use in each month. A team subscription package is designed to support up to 25 users with fees for connectors. As an example, if you only have 3 users then this is all you will pay for. If you have 10 users with a connector licence, then you pay 10 x the user fee and 1 x the connector fee. You can scale users up and down at any point in the month, with only the highest usages being charged for that single month.

  • Do you already have datasets for information people want to map or do you require people to provide their own datasets?

Mapsimise is primarily for mapping your own business data by uploading CSV/Excel sheets or connecting to an existing CRM system. In the future will will be looking at making public-domain datasources available in Mapsimise, but for now you can import data in CSV/XLSX or KML formats.

  • Do I get support and help with my subscription or do I just have to work it out?

Good news, we are here to help you get the best from your subscription and Mapsimise is a managed service not just a hosted one. You can get in touch via our social media channels on Twitter and Facebook, or you can email us on support@mapsimise.com. Our Support number is 01983 245245 if you need to talk to us. You can also make use of a number of our demo videos and a growing number of articles in our knowledgebase.
